Who here has done DBT or is doing it?

What is the structure of it? Do you discuss what youā€™ve used and havenā€™t used?

Iā€™ve just started with a new therapist and told her I want to do DBT, but atm I feel like the things Iā€™m told I could just do myself.

Plus every therapy session just makes me feel worse as it makes me realise how shit my life is.

Itā€™s not that I donā€™t subscribe to it. I just feel like I donā€™t know if Iā€™m getting my moneys worth

Edit: I should add that itā€™s costs me about $200 USD a session, so Iā€™m not sure how long to stick it out before I just give up and do something else
