Im wondering if anyone else with bpd does this, i unconsciously will take on traits of mannerisms of my partners over time, eventually it becoming a part of my personality, like im forming it one piece at a time through then. I dont intentionally do it, for example, my ex used to pop her right foot a lot, so i started doing it and still do it to this day, my current partners makes some noises that i noticed i have been doing myself without realizing (until i did of course) and i feel like i took atleast a small bit of past partners personaility or appearance and its kinda odd, i also have taken fashion sense or aestetic from them etc.

Just wondering if this is an every person thing or due to bpd and my somewhat lacking of a core sense of self identity or personality.
