Post Body

i really struggle to manage my emotions. when i upset my partner (i never do this intentionally) i always get so upset that i’ve made them upset. they say it makes them feel like they can’t be upset and it stresses them how interact (which is very irrational. i begin to sob and hit myself when they leave the room). Im completely aware this is inappropriate. How should i react instead? It feels impossible to catch myself. The tears just begin. Especially when they shut down, it feels like i can’t fix my mistake.
