Settings for Ryzen 7 based computer?

Hello, friends! I have recently invested in a desktop with a Ryzen 7 3700x processor, 8gb DDR4-2666 RAM, AMD Radeon RX 550, and 256gb SSD. It was a great price, an HP. I’m not a gamer, so I do some office work during the day, and it’ll be loaded up with BOINC the rest of the time.

I split my BOINC time between World Community Grid (all projects) and SETI. Does anyone has a similar configuration, and if so, tell me what their setup config is? I’m using WCG’s default “Standard” profile for home.

I see there is also a “Maximum Output” people. Has anyone experimented with this, and if so, do you know the impact on your system long term? I want to maximize my contribution while minimizing any long term damage to my new system.
