Love my BMW i3 but can’t stand the seats for long distances.
Post Body

Hi everyone! Let me first state that I’m a longtime BMW driver: I’ve owned the classics, SUVs, sedans, and M’s. And by far my 2017 i3 Rex has been truly a game-changing car. I would say it’s the most important car BMW has built in the last 30 years. The chassis is great, comfortable ride, a lot of zip, good visibility…however I commute with it twice a week now (180 miles) per day. The seat comfort is UNBEARABLE. Obviously this is NOT what this car was made to do.

I want to stick with BMW or a Euro brand and want to take advantage of charging an EV or PHEV with the solar in my home. What people’s thoughts on the 330e? I love the i4 but don’t think my commute will make it round trip consistently. Lots of steep grades, 100 degree weather in the summer and snow in the winter. Thanks!!!
