Hello,
I have a 2003 Z4 2.5i. It its almost at 160k miles now. I have owned it since 2019 so it has been 5 years. I love the car and how it drives. But a couple of ideas and thoughts have come to mind. One of them was a possible engine swap. Now the engine works fine and sounds great. But the thought of possibly swapping it for a K engine lingers in my mind. Like how much will the mpg improve, and how much power can I make. Or even go for a 2jz or ls swap. The will end up being my daily so K swap seem more logical.
I want to know if anyone has down a K Swap for this car. If you did, how was the labor and what parts are needed? How did it turn out?
If you are going to say just get a 3.0, I'll save you some time. I do not want a 3.0. I would not be making this post if I wanted that.
