Clutch replacement in drive way

Hey there guys well I’ve been used to do all the minor repairs on my z4 2L 2006 by my self in the driveway and I’m just curious how practical it’s to do a clutch replacement in the drive way itself?is there any lad how has attempted to do such repairs in the drive way itself and if so will some one be able to guide and give die tips to get it done in the correct manner? Thanks
