Onboard service history question

Post Body

Hi all. Looking at buying a 2017 F15 50i

The onboard service history has one entry that seems to have the wrong kms listed.

Example (rounded numbers for example)

45,000 kms 510,000 kms 58,000 kms

I presume they meant 51,000 kms but don’t know how the system works. Does someone literally type in the mileage when marking it as serviced which could explain the discrepancy? Or does it pull from the main ECU which doesn’t explain the issue.

It says it was done by a dealer, so just curious what you guys think of this.

And additionally, can it be corrected by BMW?
