I recently purchased a new-to-me 2019 X5 which I absolutely love. The only odd thing is that what I thought was a wireless charging pad/cradle doesn’t work. I asked the dealership about it and they said that it’s not actually a wireless charging pad but instead a cradle for my phone of I use it as the digital key. When I’ve researched whether the 2019 comes with a standard wireless charger I get conflicting reports, so I thought I would ask the experts here.

Bonus question, if I do use a charging cord using the USB port next to it, it barely charges.

What say y’all? Is that a wireless charging pad or is it a cradle for the digital key? And should the charging pod put out more power?
