Mechanic said I need an oil pan - found one online. Okay to buy?

The mechanic working on my BMW said I need a new oil pan. He said he can order one for me and it'll be around $230 but I found a few online for a lot cheaper. I found one on e-bay for $95 that says it is compatible with the make and model of my car. (2004 325ci) Should I go ahead and order it? Is there a reason why the one he was going to buy is more expensive?
