Hello! New BMW Owner questions.
Post Body

So It's not necessarily a new BMW, but it's my first one.

I just bought a 325xi 2003 5 Speed and it's an okay car. It's a little too slow for me, mpg efficiency isn't the greatest, and it's much smaller than I thought. But whatever, this isn't about that.

My first oil change I got, I went to the dealership to do, and it was a whopping 100 bucks to change the oil and wash it and vacuum it. Did not realize it'd be a little on the pricier. I used to have an Acura TL Type S 6 Speed and it was only like 45 bucks to change the oil. But whatever, the price isn't a big deal as long as it gets everything it needs.

My question is, is it okay to take my car to like a jiffy lube or something else to get an oil change or should I absolutely get the oil changes at the dealership?

Thanks guys.
