I got a sonic pad thinking it would be easy to load up klipper onto the BTT board, but I knew there was going to be some inconvenience due to latest creality strategies with their products. The latest sonic pad update now includes a way to compile the motherboard firmware, but it doesnt include the SKR chipset STM32G0B1. Everything I am reading says, oh its so easy to flash klipper to the board, install RPi OS onto RPi device. You can ssh into the RPi and run these commands and set it all up. But with the sonic pad, that is a bit hard to follow that process.
Am I missing something or misunderstanding the whole process?
I can find the right klipper config file, can load that onto usb drive, sonic pad recognizes the usb/file, I can get a serial port for the board so i know the pad can see the terminal. cannot use the sonic pad to configure per btt chip. so I am reading and researching that you can run web interface or emulators, but I cant seem to put two and two together to get the old school process to work via my laptop.
Anybody have any pointers or solutions? things to try? Anyone have a simple way to configure klipper and load it onto the board? .. i just must not understand something somewhere along this saga..
