As an EK, you can bind a weapon to make any weapon return to you once thrown, as long as it has the thrown property.

All daggers do have this property, and most importantly, Orin's dagger, Bloodthirst. When used in the off-hand, any creature with it will be vulnerable to piercing damage. This means that if you throw it twice, the second time will be at double damage, and riders like ring of flinging, gloves on uninhibited kushigo, and tavern brawler will be doing double damage.

While Nyrulna is great at AOE damage, I feel a lot of seperate thrown weapons are ignored in favour of it. I think if you can kill Orin relatively early on in Act 3, then her knife becomes incredibly powerful as a TB EK thrower. I've not really seen ayone mention it, whether that's because no-one's tried it, or it simply doesn't work as I assume, I don't know, but hopefully this helps people experiment with throwing and change up the meta.
