I'm thinking of making a Goo-lock build going at least 6 warlock, and using mortal reminder for control. I also just generally really like the flavor of it for Durge. What I'm wondering is whether it makes more sense to go champion or whildheart barbarian for the second class. I'm thinking a 6/6 breakdown for barbarian, but champion would be more flexible.
For barbarian, Iād go tiger-tiger, and that way there's an aoe attack that can proc crit on multiple enemies, and then I get extra damage on all those enemies because they're bleeding (plus reckless attack increases crit chance). Champion is self-explanatory: improved critical = more mortal reminder.
Beyond that, use items to stack crit (with a few exceptions: shield of the undevout's fear disadvantage may be better than knife of the undermountain in offhand, and banshee's bow could be more useful than deadshot in certain situations, and will probably be the ranged weapon of choice for the rest of the game)
I kind of like the flavor of both, but I'm wondering which would be more viable/feels like a better character. The barb build feels like a lot of fun, but champion feels more likely that Iād actually be able to crit with some regularity before getting act 3 gear ( an extra ASI is nice).
