I know how spell attacks and spell saves work in tabletop, but I'm wondering if maybe BG3 does something different to simplify things (and because they removed multiclassing requirements and made wizard dips an exploit).
Is it based off of the class you're the highest level in? E.g., let's say I'm a bard 1 / wizard 5, would Vicious Mockery key off of INT instead of CHA?
Or is it just like tabletop where Vicious Mockery is always keyed off of CHA since it's a bard spell?
Thinking about my next character and wondering how viable dipping for extra cantrips would be.

Works the same as it does in tabletop. Your spell modifier is always keyed to the class that granted you the spell.
