Raphael was not actually that challenging?
Post Body

I'd been putting off Raphael because I was led to believe that he was one of the more challenging fights in the game and I'm not really minmaxing or anything like that. I failed to recruit Yurgir.

Shadowheart -> sanctuary on Hope who only heals through the fight

Shadowheart -> summons a Djinn who keeps casting the whirlwind or whatever it's called

Other than that, everyone basically attacks normally. I didn't bother with the pillars, they didn't seem to do that much for him. He never turned into the megademon that I see other people mention.

Did I just get lucky somehow to get through it in one try? What am I missing?

Comments

I stacked a bunch of smoke powder barrels and fireworks and set that mess off first turn. One shot most of the adds and took Raph down about a third. I know that's cheese but I was getting destroyed before doing it that way
