Saved Game Deleted Out Of Nowhere, Anyone Else Have This Problem?

(On PS4) Last night I finished off playing in the dream level and was about to do the kelp Forrest but it was late so I decided to go to bed. This morning I woke up and hit continue game and it just restarted, so confused I exited out, hit continue again and it showed 1 save file for the new game it forced me to start and when I go to saved files for the app it doesn’t show anything showing I had a previous save. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so has anyone figured out a way to fix it? I assume I probably can’t fix it since it doesn’t even show the saved file in the PlayStation but an explanation would be nice.
