I’m always ready to go when it comes to sex. It’s super hard to turn me off. But this then creates an uncomfortable dynamic in my relationships. It seems like whoever I’m dating then gets too much control over when we have sex. I somehow always end up with people that have low sex drives (but trust when it’s on, it’s good). I feel like an object they can just pick up and put down whenever they want. Plus I’m usually both the instigator of every event, but also the only one ever getting turned down. I don’t wanna withhold sex, obviously I want to have sex. But how do I change that my partner has that type of control over me?
Edit: when I say control, I mean I’ve given them a certain sense mental control over my emotions. I don’t coerce people into having sex. I’m asking for advice about how control my own emotions when I feel rejected if they aren’t in the mood, not how to control the fact that they don’t want to have sex.
