A little of backstory: I was reading a story and a guy was calling himself a Dom because if he buys gifts for his partner therefore he expects (I repeat, he expects) them to comply to whatever he ask them to do.
Personally, I don't like that type of control. I can buy my own stuff. I don't need that type of 50's "control" It gives me "I'm the man and I have the pants" type of bs. Maybe it's me. Maybe that's something personal between the 2 sides of the relationship? Maybe some people like that!
I consider myself a switch or a brat and maybe that's why I don't like it?
I'm genuinely curious and I would love insight from a Dom side.
