Hey all you cool cats and kinksters! I have an exciting announcement!
drumroll... You asked for it, you got it!!
Starting this week, we are requiring locations in the title for all posts (or specifying that it is online)! Generally it is better to include a # before it, like #SanFrancisco or #online, but it should recognize most major cities. Shout out to u/ExcitingishUsername for suggesting and building the bot!
As a general rule, I'd like to see more of a culture of reporting ads that break rules. The worst ones usually get reported like sellers, but the ones that include kik names, looking for sugar babies, etc should be reported as well. Let's make this a cleaner place for everyone to find awesome partners! :)
Also, for questions related to the sub, please send it to modmail instead of individual mods. Thank you!
Happy hunting! :) PKJC
As long as the mods here are OK with such a broad area, the bot itself will accept it. Its recommended to tag it with a #, to ensure it does recognize it as your location. E.g., #Northeast US or #DeepSouth should be recognized (tho the latter may not be ideal as someone outside the US might not be familiar with that term).
I'd also recommend including details on travel arrangements if your area covers a distance greater than about an hour's travel time; e.g., who will come to who, or will you meet halfway, etc.
#UpstateNY or such would be fine; just #Upstate might get rejected tho, since it's too ambiguous a term. The idea is to give people a general idea of where you're at so they can decide if they're near enough to potentially meet you; a region, county, or nearby city is usually sufficient for that.

Well it's.... not wrong 🤦
Yeh, meta posts are exempt, but it's not recognizing this as a meta (or even mod) post for some reason; will look into that shortly!
