Click, click, click.

The sound of my heels echoed through the empty corridor as I paced, waiting. It was a sound I loved, one that spoke of control and anticipation. Tonight was special—a new connection was on the horizon, one that promised devotion and surrender.

I paused before the grand mirror, adjusting the sleek lines of my black dress. The reflection stared back, confident and commanding. I was ready to meet the one who would soon kneel before me.
