What do I mean by a King?

Lately, I got to reflect what kink means to me. Turns out I don't enjoy being called daddy, or master, or sir, or perhaps most other names. It's not even just the names, it's the roles behind them. For me, daddy is a highly protective but strictly platonic role. Master involves a complete possession of power along with the responsibilities that come with it. Sir is a professional role (as much as one despises the term - and jokes over it), which should never mix with sexual for me.

In a reddit discussion, I learnt that I felt completely fine with the role of a King. At least an ideal one at that! Someone who has lots of different responsibilities, someone who wants to do good for others, but also someone who has lots of power, but wants to (at least try) being benevolent.

And by "divine law", it is ordained that the King and the Queen should take care of not just the state, but also each other. Each has a duty to fulfil the other's desires. Often times, this may require one of them to be tied up, although not always.

Well, that's the background :).
