(let's first get this out of the way: i'm trans, well into my journey, largely passing, and that has nothing to do with what follows.)

i've always been something of a tomboy: physically active, a bit too cerebral, always dressed in a tshirt and jeans, sneakers, minimal makeup. this is the presentation that most people know me by, and the one i know myself by as well.

which is, i think, what makes hyperfeminization feel so appealing to me. allowing someone to grab my image by the leash, to steer it away from the boyish and far off into the ludicrously girly, where nobody would have thought they'd ever find me... there's something incredibly exciting about this loss of control over my own image, about this being pushed not merely to conform to gender stereotypes but to exacerbate them in many ways, none of them natural to me.

and then why not emphasize this artificiality? the feminine is nothing but a collection of costumes, and i'm incredibly attracted to the idea of being the only one wearing a costume in the party: of being made to dress in a way that clashes with the mundane around me. one thing is for a tomboy to wear heels, another for her to wear a ball gown to the supermarket, or a fairy costume to the dentist's office, or a million little bows and layers of soft fabric for another day at the office...

i'd really like to explore this with a partner. the dynamic i have in mind would involve coming up with different styles you'd like to impose upon me, and then — if we click — slowly replacing my wardrobe so as to enable this imposition. i won't pretend i'm indifferent to your tastes, but there's an important element of giving up control over my appearance (and perhaps my behavior); so if you want to introduce yourself it would be really nice if you had some idea of what you like and want.

the only thing i'd like to avoid is going for a slutty or otherwise oversexualized aesthetic. that would be too easy, and not very interesting to me.
