Raceplay is hot.
Not the crude kind. Not the kind where racial epithets get thrown around and we play caricatures of ourselves.
The subtle kind. The kind that gets uncomfortably close to the truth, that touches on taboo.
I know that as a white man I enjoy a certain status and privilege in society. I know that especially as an educated professional in a ‘prestigious’ field, and who is traditionally attractive. I have a power I didn’t earn, a power you and everyone around you unconsciously grant me. And I like it. I like the way people listen. I like the way they look to me. I like the authority they attribute to me without even realising. I like the way it seeps into the minds of women, especially non-white women, without them even noticing.
I want to make you notice. I want to bring the things that are implied, the things that are hidden, out into the open. I want race to be a subtle but explicit component of why you submit.
