I'm looking for that one elusive fit for me ... That just right person that is the Yin to my Yang and the Harley Quinn to my Joker.

I'll start with a little about myself ... Not because I'm egocentric, but because I want you to know what you get if you think I'm a fit for YOU!

I'm a 50 year young College Professor in a Science (I'll share more specifics if we get to know each other better). As a Scientist, I value my research greatly, and want to use it to change the world! (I know it sounds strange to want to save the world in this day and age, when everything seems to sour, and like the world is going to Hell with no way to stop it ... But I push myself to hold onto that saying "There is good in the world .. and it's worth fighting for.")

This being the case, my main focus is scientific work and how it can help. It takes a lot of who I am as a person ... More than just what I do ... It's more "who I am".

As such, I tend to abhor mundane things. I don't like the "small talk, chit chat" interactions that people expect. I'd far rather know you on a real and meaningful level ... The REAL you ... What you crave, what you fear, what makes you thrilled ... What makes you ashamed. These are the kinds of conversations that have meaning and depth ... And that matter.

When I'm not doing my scientific contribution to the world, I really enjoy reading and travelling. I love all kinds of books ... Thank God for Google Books, or I'd be lugging a library around with me everywhere! The last few non-science books I read were Going Infinite by Michael Lewis and Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas (actually a very dark exploration of forced submission recommended to me by someone on here!).

I mentioned I also love to travel ... Just about everywhere, as long as there is WiFi and reasonable safety/comfort. This Summer I'm doing Greece, Italy, and Alaska!

Let's see ... What else should I mention? Physically I'm 6ft 3in, 230 lbs, white, with short brown hair and eyes. I don't like to be shallow, but I also think physical attraction must be there, so we may as well be open with each other about our appearance, right?
