I'm sure you've had a similar experience, or even a few. Character-limited 'about me' sections that feel so shallow, and probably won't even be read by the majority of people. They're probably mostly judging you on how well you photograph anyway. How do you describe who you are and what you want in that little box? The ⛓️ emoji saves you time and precious characters but really tells so little.

I'll say that I'm a submissive woman hoping to find a dominant, long-term partner. I won't give a grocery list of what boxes you need to check. Instead, I will try to give you an idea of the descriptors I feel fit me, so you can see if you complement them...some a much harder sell than others.

-I am physically located in South Florida, with no intentions to relocate in the near future. Due to some past experiences, please only reach out to me if you are also a Florida resident or are planning to relocate here in the near future. It's just far too easy to play games at long distance.

-I'm childfree by choice. I like children, but I have no desire for any of my own.

-In the past, I've lived a polyamorous lifestyle. While I don't believe I'll ever return to it, some people view that as a red flag, and I am upfront and honest.

-I am a member of the LGBTQ community, and I care very much about our welfare.

-I am a feminist and believe in equality.

-To no one's surprise, I'm decently left of center politically.

-I don't feel that my kinks/sexual interests fall near the extreme spectrum (impact, breathplay, primal, restraint, etc.) and have the usual hard limits.

I hope that this resonates with someone. I know better than to expect that someone will materialize in my neighborhood. If you send a photo, I'll even send one with my response (I know physical attraction is a key component to relationships). The only thing that I require is that you put some effort into your message; remember that this isn't a dating app, and there's no character limit. 😌
