People who are trying to be themselves, who question norms and tend to think critically, people who laugh a lot, and are able to be both serious and silly, depending on what the situation calls for. People with strong values and open minds. People who see the small beauty in the world and don't mind sharing it with someone who struggles to do so. A similar taste in music would be nice, a bit of nerdiness doesn't hurt either. :)
People are visually attractive to me if they do their own thing. A smile does a lot, as does paying attention to visual appearance. A distinct style is a plus, but honestly, attraction for me is mainly based on the personality; good looks won't hide hideous traits.
