I have been in the taming sphere for around 4 years now and I love it! The challenge and satisfaction of slowly breaking a brat down and making her subby, as she complains the entire time, is a huge joy and rush! Plus, given that brats never permanently tamed this means that the challenge never ends. I got into the brat/tamer game because "traditional" bdsm didn't feel like the right fit. But at the same time, its a two way street. No free submission, no free dominance.
