I’m sitting by a fire pit in the middle of the woods, thinking about the time you threw me against the locker. You told me to be rougher with you, use my teeth, use my tongue. When I didn’t do what you needed, you showed me what I should be doing.
I sometimes wonder if that was an inflection point in my life. I could have been ferocious, devoured your mouth with mine, made you moan and sigh. I’ve done it since. But then I think - I would’ve only done it because you told me to. Your demonstration certainly awoke something in me, but it wasn’t a choice, it was a revelation.
When I spend time reflecting like this, I start to imagine what it might mean to capture that interaction again. Who might step into my life with the same force and energy you had when you shook the padlocks with my body? Are they younger than me? Older? Shorter? Taller? Have they had their dreams come true yet? I’m still searching, for sure.
