Hi there! Hoping that posting this on main won't get me into too much trouble... Feel free to peep my comments history is you're nosy, I won't judge.
My post title sums it up, but basically over the last few years, on my own accord, I've become a bit of a loner. I'm an independent person -- I have a rewarding full-time job, I own a house, and I've reached a point in my life where I am plenty content with my situation and I'm happy. But, there's been something missing. I don't have a partner and haven't had one for a few years. I've dated, but nothing has quite stuck. Call it bad luck, or call it me being picky waiting for the "right one", but I've been more than okay waiting so long as the time feels well-spent (which it has).
I'm looking for a partner, whatever that means. A friend, a sounding board, a should to cry on sometimes, but someone to laugh with most of the time. Something romantic sure, but I prefer to build an emotional and mental connection alongside that.
About me personally: I've been described as an intense person -- I don't always practice many hobbies, but when I get into a hobby, I get *really* into that hobby. Since buying this house at the very beginning of last year, most of my hobbies have revolved around that. DIY and housework type stuff -- ask to see pics of my renovated bathroom which I'm just finishing up! I'm also into video games, food, cooking, the outdoors, and movies (horror in particular).
I'm liberal/Left-minded, pretty emotionally sensitive/empathetic, and an analytical type thinker. I identify as a sub-leaning switch and versatile, floating around somewhere in the acespec/aceflux/demi part of the sexuality spectrum, and I'm almost exclusively attracted to femininity (trans people very welcome!). Physically speaking, I'm white with brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, and freckles. Frequently described as nerdycute.
There's so so much more I could talk about with who I am and what I'm looking for, but if you've made it this far I hope that you would send me a message so we can talk :) Happy to answer any questions or share pics if you want. Looking forward to meeting you!
