Fantasy/Fiction Books with Twisted Relationships like Artemisia and Themistocles?
Post Body

300: Rise of An Empire was total garbage as acknowledged by all critics, but I have a hard soft spot for the kind of shallow, fucked up relationship it showed between Artemisia and Themistocles. They had a primal sexual attraction and corresponding aggressive problematic sex scene, and then ultimately the obligatory eroticized/phallic comeuppance (here, here), in which she tells him "you fight harder then you fuck" and when he rams his sword through her, she looks at him longingly and impales herself further to embrace him. Then, she falls to her knees in front of his sword pointed directly out of his crotch area in imagery only an unconscious person could miss (many reviewers noticed this).

Anyway, you probably think "wow this guy really just wanted to describe that scene" and while I do like describing it, I'm just trying to get a sense of the sort of material I'm looking for. Also it doesn't have to be in the male-female direction. Could be a female character who delights in sexual domination as part of her power trips (like Xenia Onatopp in Goldeneye, but for fantasy).
