In order to reduce crime and increase wellbeing amongst citizens I propose the following prison reform.

Prisoners (male and female) must be kept naked and in solitary confinement for the entire duration of their sentence without exceptions.

They must have their hands tightly restrained behind their back and their feet cuffed with a short chain 24/7, to reduce the risk of escape and to provide the necessary discipline they are obviously lacking in life.

The prisoners should be monitored at all times by a guard of the opposite sex and / or cameras.

To encourage self-discipline, regular whipping with a heavy leather strap (or similar) should be carried out in a professional manner.

In addition to regular physical punishment, each prisoner must be made to watch informative and educational video lectures on topics relating to their crimes, including topics such as psychology and sociology.

To ensure that this punishment is in the best interest of the prisoner, and also to ensure that prisoners return to the world with sound psychological health, counseling must also be provided.

If someone feels they are at risk of committing a crime they may voluntarily be imprisoned after a thorough psychological evaluation.
