It is a mostly petplay related story, but it is not the hole focus. In the manhwa it isn't explicitly said that it is petplay, but it very clearly is!

"Gayoon decides to enroll into a high school far away from home just to be closer to Soha, her middle school heroine and idol. Gayoon finds out about Soha's loss and decides to help her by filling the role of Soha's once true friend - Happy, Soha's pet dog."

It is a slice of life story that gets really intense. (or maybe that is me being extra emotional) I would give out a content warning for Bullying and Physical Abuse, they are also a major theme!

It is still my favorite nonsexual petplay relationship in media.
