Hi all! I’m new to the BDSM community! I am interested in developing a pleasure dom/sub dynamic and from my researching and trial and error, I’ve discovered that because this lifestyle requires such a great deal of trust! It’s very important to me and for me to build a rapport with my potential dom and build a relationship to develop into a long term dynamic.

While I’ve expected to hit some major roadblocks during my search, I have found that a lot of men that have reached out to me are imo just looking for someone to sleep with and I’m not interested in that. I’ve tried placing personal ads and I know it’ll take some time before I find someone that I can mesh with.

I was thinking that maybe if I decided to try “dating” instead and meeting a partner that way. Like just letting them know up front what I am into and am looking for and go from there?

Has that worked for anyone? Or is it better to try to stay in the community and just continue to weed out potentials until you match?
