I'm a switch but honestly I'm predominantly dominant due to some negative experiences relating to my submission (I think it'd just take a long period of adjustment and trust for me to be submissive now) and I'm pretty much looking for like minded friends and possibly a submissive if the vibes are right between us.

I've been involved in kink and specifically in the role of a dominant for a long time (way younger than I'd ever recommend people to begin learning about bdsm) but for me, dominance is a lifeline. That being said, I'm perfectly happy if it's not a TPE or 24/7 dynamic.
