Disclaimer: I realized this is going to sound like a generalization. Of course, not all people are in one specific way nor are they a monolith. I'm just talking about a trend I keep noticing. Please keep this in mind as I write this post out

This may be a stupid question to ask considering this community but I've been on fetlife for a couple of months and there is a common pattern that I'm noticing here.

Most dommes profiles esp the ones I've met in real life I've most commonly seen are Pro-dommes, dommes who are very much on the sadistic side, or very kinky dommes that are mostly into pegging. I think kink is very exciting and I do want to explore certain bdsm fetishes, but my main reason for joining that community is to find a woman who is sexually dominant in a more vanilla setting as I can't seem to find that outside the community (or the affectionate dominance since I'm really into sex with a lot of intimacy and romance not necessarily calling her mommy.) and I find it's kinda rare for me to come across that on fetlife as well.

Even with dommes who are into affectionate play, I notice they mostly engage in that more with women, but with women seeking male subs I notice they're more into the violent aspects of kinks or they ask for tribute.

Does anyone else also have this experience or am I talking out of my ass here?
