Triggering Compliments

The roundness of my face is one of my biggest insecurities. My coworker today said I “looked pretty” and looked like a “moonbeam”. Both of those things triggered me and my mind is working overtime trying to figure out what that meant.
Not only did she call me pretty (not good enough to be beautiful) but also that I look like the moon ( a round orb). Honestly at this point I’d rather someone tell me I look like shit than give me compliments that can easily be interpreted as negative.
