Note Taking: Hand or typed when doing a computer course?
Post Body

I was dabbling in another thread which linked to this article. It talks about how you retain information better by writing it by hand then by typing it out.

However, I am starting the CST program this week. Does that hold true for programming when talking about code? I understand that it may for my business classes and my applied mathematics classes, but does that same hold true for programming(when I have shitty penmanship)? I just have a hard time picturing me keeping up with writing code by hand, especially since, with a laptop, it's just a copy-paste away from putting it into Eclipse to test it out.

I guess what I'm asking is, for the people who have done first year for CST, which ways did you find most efficient for taking notes?
