Grilling/smoking nausea?
Post Body

This just happened again: I grilled up some sausages and polenta - thoroughly cooked - that my family and I ate. I washed them down with a decent, but not excessive quantity of red wine. After a few hours I started feeling nauseous and then threw up. Went to sleep and felt fine the next morning. No one else had any problems and they all enjoyed what I'd grilled.

This happened to me a few times in the past when smoking stuff, but I've smoked and grilled a number of times lately on the Weber kettle with no ill effects. I didn't breathe in a lot of smoke, and the kettle is in an open area outside. I wasn't even out there all that long, as this was just grilling, not a long smoke.

Any ideas? It's no fun at all to wonder if you're going to get sick when you cook some meat.
