Enemies not spawning

I loaded into the game excited to play took a while to get in even did what others were saying to delete chicken mod
Finally loaded into maps and no matter whether it was vanilla map or mods no enemies would spawn and yes I know I could delete the mods but I’ve downloaded a lot and don’t wanan reload is it a known glitch are they working on it or no
