I decided to check out her sinking based on your comment and i'm really saddened at how her Captain was treated. It's bad enough that he lost his crew, got railroaded by the USN, Lost his command to have it restored, and it all ending with suicide at 70.

Yeah, i'm gonna leave that one alone. I read up on it and needless to say my bloods boiling. 47 men dead because some hot shot Captain.

What broke my heart for the man are some of the Christmas cards that McVay got that blamed him for their kids death. I mean i get it, he's the Captain and ultimately responsible for his crew. From what little research i've done, it seems like he did everything he could for his crew barring swimming between his ship and taking those torpedo's on bare handed.
