I recently achieved my AZ-104 Azure Admin certification, and I'm looking to gather some insights on the average salary for a Junior Cloud Admin/Engineer role in the UK. I've had a bit of a journey in IT, transitioning from a Helpdesk role for 1.5 years to a Sys Admin position for another 1.5 years. Now, I'm ready to take the next step in my career and negotiate a raise with my current employer, I really want to work my way up into a Cloud role and why not DevOps in a few years.

I am currently sitting at 30K.

My question to you all is: What's the average salary I can expect for a Junior Cloud Admin/Engineer position in the UK, considering my background and newly acquired certification? I'm looking for insights from those who have first hand experience or knowledge about the current job market in the UK.

If anyone has tips or advice on how to approach the salary negotiation process, it's my first time navigating this :)
