Alternatives for (anupana) milk when taking medicine?
Post Body

I am new to ayuverdic medicine. For context, I've been reading up on ayurverdic treatments for uterine fibroids.

I read that formulas Shigru Guggulu, Haridra Khanda, and Kanchanara Guggulu should be taken with milk to help with absorption of these formulas. However, I am avoiding dairy for a while.

I'm guessing the fat in the milk is what helps with absorption (but correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, would another healthy fat such as fish oil help with absorption of these formulas?
