My partner’s buddy wanted to go on an ayahuasca retreat and invited us. While I decide my own comfort levels with both the substance and the retreat experience I have some questions about the partner experience. I know this is a profoundly individual experience however, since I would be physically present with my partner I wonder.

For those who have experienced this with a partner:

What was it like seeing your partner in that state without an ability to comfort them?

What is it like seeing your partner without all of their faculties while you are experiencing the same?

Did it enhance or detract from your relationship? Or the experience Iredell?
