Anyone had weak extracts from WakingHerbs?
Post Body

I’ve done LSD and psilocybin, some pretty high doses, and I want to try Ayahuasca. I ordered two 30:1 extracts from WakingHerbs, and now I’ve tried two of them and had virtually no effect except for some nausea.

I deliberately started with no DMT admixture plants, but just the B. Caapi, to ease into it. There’s plenty of information online that there should be a kind of trip from just the B. Caapi. I have a bag of the psychotria and some other herbals to cook up for down the road.

The two extracts are black oil that is the consistency of very cold molasses and the taste, when dissolved in hot water to make tea, of a dark, thin machine oil, and tastes bitter and a little nauseating.

I dissolved 4 gm of the 30:1 B. caapi (yellow) extract, which would be equivalent to 120 gm of the plant material, in some hot water, and drank the sludgy tea. Nothing an hour later, so I did another 4 gm, for a total of 8 gm equivalent to 240 gm of plant matter, or about half a pound of the vine itself. Again, nothing, except some nausea.

Three hours ago, a couple weeks after I tried the B. caapi, I tried the other paste I got, a 1:1 blend of 30:1 of B. Caapi (yellow) and Cats Claw. Same as before, I tried 4 gm in water, then an hour later another 5 grams, so equivalent to 270 gm of plant matter (135 g B. Caapi and 135 g Cats Claw). Same lack of effect, except some nausea.

Has anyone else had dud extracts from WakingHerbs?

Thanks, and stay safe everybody.
