Red pandas, also know as the lesser panda are native to the Himalayas and China. Modern genetic testing proves they are closely related to raccoons, weasels and skunks. Red pandas regularly feed on bamboo, leaves, fruit and blossoms. Unfortunately due to deforestation, these guys are endangered.
