Using Perpetual license from Avid 2018.12 for 2020 or later

Hi all,
I purchased a perpetual avid license way back when Avid 8 was released. Even after I stopped having support, I was able to use that license up to Avid 2018.7. Being 2023 and my Mac OS 14.6 is becoming dated does anyone know if I am able to use my license for Avid 2020 or later? Just wanted to ask before I updated my OS. I tried once a couple years ago & I couldn't get it to work but wanted to check incase I was missing a step. Thank you.
