Two PC streaming question with Live Gamer 4K: If I want to game on one monitor in 1080p 144hz (or 1080p 120hz), but I only need 1080p 60hz capture, do I need a 10 series or better Nvidia graphics card?

Post Body

I'm looking to build a new PC, and I want to use my old PC for streaming in a two PC setup. Because I'm only looking to stream 1080p60, in theory I don't need the higher framerate support.

However, the input I'd want to capture would also be going to a 1080p144 monitor.

The old PC I have is currently equipped with a dying 980ti, and once that dies, the only backup I have is a 950. According to AverMedia's specs, that's fine for recording 1080p60, but... if I were recording at 60 fps, wouldn't that mean requiring my monitor be running at 60 fps as well? And if so, is a 980ti (or 950) going to allow the Live Gamer 4K to capture at 1080p144, or would I specifically need a 10 series or better?
