Having trouble with console Game Audio.

Post Body

Just picked this up the other day and I am trying to figure out how the setup I have is either preventing game sound coming through, and when it does come through it's very quiet.

My setup: PC: Asus Vivo PC X CC: Avermedia LGP2 Consoles: PS4/XB1 Microphone/Headset: Astro headset with Mixamp Pro for PS4/PC Streaming Software: Streamlabs OBS

When I've tested streams my mic audio comes through, sometimes with an echo. If I have it setup in just the wrong way it feeds back repeatedly and ramps up to deafening levels. But as far as game audio it has been completely silent, the once or twice I got audio I think my mic was just picking it up through something else.

I am also only hearing game audio through the headphones that are routed through the AMLGP2 to the controller and no sound is coming through the TV or stream. I've verified on both systems that sound is set to go through the TV vice headphones/optical or otherwise.

This post might have another home on r/twitch or a sub for streamlabs obs but I would like to make sure I'm not using this CC incorrectly as I'm sure it is more than capable of giving me a great product.
