I don't claim to be the biggest movie/television buff ever. But I watch alot of it. Never in my life, have I watched something and been so numb internally to what I was watching. I don't understand why the people who make decisions on these movies/shows can't just give us what we want. We want to see our beloved cartoons come to life. I completely understand why the OG creators left this project. I cant wrap my head around why they thought mixing storylines and changing personalities of main characters was smart to do. People who never watched ATLA love the show, of course. It would maybe be different if ATLA stopped airing years ago. But Idek if that would make this show excusable.
I never outright said it to anyone, but I apologize to the people I thought were just complaining. There are some parts I do like. But they pale in comparison to the changes that were made to an already great show.
